Aircraft Delta 757 'Soaring Higher' Art Print - Artist Proof
In mid 2007, Delta Air Lines emerged out of bankruptcy proceedings with 'flying colors'. In the process, the company avoided a hostile takeover by a competing airline. This print depicts the resplendent Boeing 757, in the Delta Air Lines post-bankruptcy paint scheme. The aircraft is flying at 33,000 feet against the backdrop of a spectacular sunrise. The sunrise is symbolic of a new day for Delta Air Lines and its employees. This is the fourth original painting done by Robert West of a Delta Aircraft. He has been licensed by Delta to market its aircraft since 1985. Presently, he is working on a painting depicting Delta's first set of DC-3 turbo-liners at the 1950 Atlanta airport.

Aircraft 'Nightfighters' Art Print - Tuskegee Airmen Signed & Numbered
The 332nd Fighter Group was the United States' very first airborne combat unit comprised of all Afro-American personnel. Commanded by Col. Benjamin O. Daves, this squadron was able to boast 111 aerial kills, 150 strafing victories, and even the sinking of a German naval vessel by the war's end. They never lost a bomber under escort to enemy air attack (a feat unmatched by any other fighter group in all of World War II). Before the 332nd Fighter Group saw combat, they were given the derogatory label 'Nightfighters'. As an artist, Robert West felt compelled to use that same term in a more positive light by depicting the Tuskegee Airmen, who are actually flying at night escorting B-1 bombers. It was even more fitting to have them flying over Berlin in 1944 as the allies were delivering the final punches to Hitler's war-machine. Lt. Col. 'Buddy' Anchers' P-51-C Mustang is in the foreground. He was America's first 'one' pilot as evidenced by the 5 swastikas adorning the flank of his aircra
